Terms of Service
Welcome to the website and products of Counting Co. (“we”, operating the Cyber Tutor brand). Please read these terms before you start; using the service means you agree to them.
1. Accepting these terms
These terms apply to our website twctchem.com and to products such as PDF-Tutor (including the Teacher Console’s classrooms and admin center, the Reading Room and the Exam Bank). If you use the service on behalf of a school or organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it.
2. The service
We provide AI learning tools, such as tap-to-explain homework help, mistake notebooks, textbook reading, past-paper practice and a Teacher Console for teachers to run classrooms, manage student accounts and build exam banks. Features marked Beta are still being tested and may be changed or withdrawn.
3. Accounts and acceptable use
Cloud accounts are created by an administrator with an invite code or by a teacher in the Teacher Console. You must keep your sign-in details safe and are responsible for activity under your account. You agree not to:
- Lend, transfer or share your account with others.
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others, or that you have no right to use.
- Interfere with or damage the system, or try to get around daily limits or other restrictions.
- Access the service in bulk by automated means.
Each account has a daily limit on AI use. Once it is reached, AI features are unavailable until the next day.
4. Content and intellectual property
The homework, books, notes and conversations you upload remain yours or those of the original rights holder. You authorize us to process them and send them to AI services to the extent necessary to provide the service. You must make sure you have the right to use what you upload, such as copyrighted textbooks and exam papers.
The intellectual property in our website, software, interface design, trademarks and copy belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or distributed without permission.
5. AI-generated content
AI explanations, feedback, translations, question detection and summaries may be incomplete or wrong, especially with poor scans, complex layouts or untidy handwriting. Treat them as study aids and check important results against your textbook, teacher or the official answers. Official answers and your teacher’s judgement take precedence over the AI.
6. Academic integrity
The service is designed to support understanding and practice. You should follow the academic integrity rules of your school or course and decide for yourself whether AI assistance is allowed in a given assessment.
7. Changes and interruptions
We work to keep the service stable but cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It may be paused or changed for maintenance, upgrades, third-party outages or events beyond our control, and we will give advance notice where practicable.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the service, nor for decisions you make based on AI content. These terms do not exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service or ask us to delete your account at any time. If you breach these terms we may suspend or end your access. How cloud data is handled when an account is deleted is described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Disputes arising from them shall be submitted to a court of the Republic of China (Taiwan) with jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms when needed, posting the changes on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the service after a revision means you accept it.
